Comparative mythologist, author and teacher John Lash is one of the foremost exponents of the power of myth to direct and shape an individual’s life, as well as history itself. Described as the true successor of Joseph Campbell, John is a teacher of world mythology, Tantra, Buddhism, Gnosticism, the pre-Christian Mysteries, alchemy, astrology, and naked-eye astronomy. He had traveled widely throughout the world and lived in Japan, the UK, Greece, Norway, France, Spain and Belgium. He lives in Europe.
For over 35 years, Lash has specialized in studies of sidereal mythology -- myths found in all cultures around the world relating to the patterns in the skies. He has a unique technique of observation, combined with as original method of reading those patterns and relating them to the way we live and view the world. He is recognized as a leading scholar on ancient astronomy, the Zodiac, and precession of the equinoxes (World Ages).

good that you've posted this link here. Jan Irvin doesn't nearly get enough love as he deserves.
some real epic length shows there!
Its strange, when you are quite into someone, which I've been with Lash. I have read some of his articles at metahistory that have really impressed me. And I am currently reading his book.
The BIG shock was his suggestion that gnosticism wasn't/isn't nature-hating. I had assumed otherwise. In fact I haven't made my mind up yet--aint finished his book yet! ;)
But what really got me with this interview was Lash's VOICE, I just fell in love with it. In fact I paused the interview alittle bit into it, emailed metahistory and said to pass it on to John how much i LOVE HIS VOICE....haha
I know it may seem weird. It is lovely to listen to, has this ternal youthfull ness about it, the tone, feel....and uyeah, it turned me on. Some voices really piss me off. Others are bland. some this some that. But HIS voice. Love it.
Doesn't mean to mean he speaks THE truth, but just thought i'd mention this...
